I had ordered a dress for Rs.499/- and made online payment wherein the order was confirmed and I got an sms and email about the same. After few weeks when the order was not delivered, I tried to log in the website for contact details. The website was no longer operational. I then realized about the email i had received and emailed the concerns of product not delivered.
I got revert from them saying that the order is cancelled as it was out of stock and that the money will be refunded. Till date I have not received the same.
I strongly would plead the authorities concerned and associated to such online fraud to make the registration of such websites strict and that they are not able to extract money. It is of course the consumer responsibility to be careful too, but these websites are successful in fooling the smartest ones too.
