I paid my BSNL bill on 24th April 2017 through paytm to avail the cashback I applied promo code NEWDEVICE to my Bsnl landline bill payment of Rs 876(Order# 3132786917) which gives you Rs 200 off on your next electronic purchase of Rs 600 by applying code ELE200. The promo code NEWDEVICE was applied successfully , then i confirmed the payment method and paid Rs 876 with my paytm wallet.But after the payment was successful I use code ELE200 for Rs 200 cashback but i was not not able to apply it. I contacted paytm customer care but they said that you have not applied the coupon and you are not elgible for the cashback.If i would not use promo code then why would i pay through paytm which take 2 days to update a bill.I would have straight a way paid through BSNL portal.The only reason I paid through paytm was this offer.
I contacted paytm customer care and their reply was , “you did not apply the coupon” and the complaint was closed… I again tried to contact them but they did not budge…
I want paytm to compensate me for wasting y time and causing mental agony to me by refusing the benfits which they intially promised. Also paytm should stop cheating people and wasting their time,they should not wrongly promise..
