I had a vodafone mumbai region pre-paid no – 7506807789. In July i raised a request to convert the no from mumbai region to delhi region, as i moved to ncr and was facing network issue. I was told to convert by the vodafone store that my no will b converted into a post paid no of delhi ncr, as in change of region the company do not re-issue pre-paid no, thats the company policy. I said okhay, go ahead convert the no to delhi ncr post paid sim. I was told it will take 7 working days. During this process, the vodafone store executive entered a wrong code in there system, due to which my conversion request was rejected. Futher I enquired, calling both mumbai and delhi call centre region, as why is it stuck and how many days will it take to resolve and get it done. i was constantly pushed from one call center to another – mumbai said delhi will answer your query and delhi said mumbai will answer my query.  within all this hassle , i received a message from vodafone stating that my request has been cancelled as wrong code was provided by delhi vodafone store and further i need to raise a fresh request and that would take another 7 days of time. i was already facing network issues and cant wait for another couple of days so i bought a new sim for myself and asked the vodafone store person as not to raise the request again , i do not want to change my region. Thereafter, the vodafone executive on his own raised the complain again and my sim was changed to a delhi ncr post paid sim. Its two months now daily i receive calls from vodafone persons to pay the bill. why do i need to pay the bill when i did not ask for this service, neither i  m using your operator’s services. They have now put my phone on out of services and daily calls me from different no and ask to pay the bill. that sort of service is this. i didnt ask for this service, i m not using your service and neither i m obliged to pay the bill. First month of bill has some 10-20 sec call, it was placed by mistake as i have two sim phone and second month they have even put some extra charges in the bill. My vodafone no was a 3 year old mumbai region pre-paid no, unnecessarily they have put it out of service. Initially it was a hassle calling their call centres and now these executives calls on a daily basis in highly troubling.
