This is in regards to a booking I made on 6th Nov’21 via PAYTM , which was cancelled ( I have no idea why ). On 7th Nov’21 I have received an email from Indigo saying my flight was cancelled. I immediately called Indigo Care to check & they say the flight is cancelled from my Agency ( Paytm ). Then i called Paytm care team and they say it was not cancelled from their end too , so now the question here is Who has cancelled the flight ( I have not done it any chance ) and just in case if PAYTM says it was done by Airline ( They have PLAN – B available if they cancel the ticket or they issue the full refund ) which i not the case here.
Now comes the best part , the refund amount which i received is Rs.1206 whereas i paid Rs 5306 because The airline and Paytm cancellation Fee was charged to me for something I have not even done. I was promised a cashback of Rs 501 within 24 hours in Paytm Wallet and that was not sent too.
When i call Paytm care they say it is going to take 30 days for them verify exactly that who has cancelled the flight and then after their successful verification they refund me the remaining amount.
Now my question is what if a consumer only fixed amount or budget to travel and you guys block their money for a month like this. This is a total unfair.
The paytm customer care representatives are so rude and horrible , they do not show any empathy or sympathy towards the concern and are just man made robots and just repeat the same thing each time you call them.
