Text of Complaint by Delvin Varghese:

I would like to draw your attention to a bad experience in the delivery of an order for the product OnePlus 9RT.The product was expected to deliver on 24th July, a week after the order. I was in constant touch with the customer care to have this delivered the previous day. However I did not see that request being honored even though it came very close to the delivery date the previous day.
I had updated that I will not be available on 24th, still the delivery team attempted to deliver the product that morning without calling. The call was returned, since a suitable time cannot be seen for that day, and agreed to deliver the next day. I had to call twice the next day to find out when they were delivering the product. Their answer was, we will come before 05:30 – meaning I had to wait the whole day without knowing when they would come. The delivery could not be completed because there was an exchange to be done and they had to get some code from that mobile. These procedures were not informed to me earlier. The delivery team told us to inform the customer service centre regarding when they want to deliver it again.
On the 27th morning(yesterday) I called the customer service centre to have this delivered yesterday and had promised that it would be delivered before 7PM.
Today morning, to my surprise, I saw the order was cancelled and the product returned to the seller.
All through the delivery process, the updates provided by the delivery team were incorrect/ misleading. There wasn’t any genuine effort to support the customer.I am still wondering how the product can be cancelled by the delivery team without the customer concurrence or without a legitimate attempt to deliver. Me as a customer has been left at the losers end.
The delivery agent’s attitude was like “Do whatever you want to do,I don’t care and I will do what I will do”.It’s true that a refund is being processed, but as a customer I am ordering a product expecting it to be delivered in time and to be used, and not to get a refund of what I paid and it looks like the customer is again a fool by ordering a product with Amazon.
If the product is being cancelled and refunded as amazon decides, what is the guarantee that the customer will get the product?
I hope and trust that Amazon will take this very seriously and address my concerns and I will provide an alternative solution.
