I had done booking for 13 persons 3 months before for stay at Shahpura House Jaipur thru Booking.com the reservation no is 2628252775 pin no 4391. We had called the hotel many times after booking to confirm whether they require any advance amount for the booking, but everytime the reservation desk said us their is no requirement of advance payment. As we are travelling on 23rd December to Jaipur we were going thru the App and to our surprise we came to know that we any prior intimation or phone call the Property has cancelled our reservation after calling booking.com they simply denied saying we have sent mail to you regarding the same, but we have not received any mail nor any telephonic conversation from booking.com or the property, though we were in constant touch with the property and we were asking them to send us the link for payment but everytime they said their is no need of advance payment as you have secured through your credit card. Through our person who stays in Jaipur we investigated the full matter and we came to know that Property has taken booking for the same date from some other customer and the booking amount is more what we have paid or booked 3 months ago, so looking at the festival season they have cancelled our booking and now giving false reason that our credit card details were wrong. When we complained to booking.com they said we can’t do anything in this matter and we have to deal with the property. And property says we can’t do anything as they have cancelled the booking. Now we are in such a situation that we will reach Jaipur and we don’t have booking as almost all the hotels are booked due to festive season. Please guide us and give us proper justice as they have done wrong to us just to earn few more profit.
