I ordered food through zomato . I received a call from the restaurant saying that the ingredients are not available . So cancel the order . I cancelled the order . Now I receive an email from zomato saying the order placed by you will be charged the cancellation fee equal to the amount of the order as it leads to wastage of food . If the food was not prepared how will it lead to wastage and if i was asked to cancel the order why should i be charged.
