Text of Complaint by Divya Bajaj:

Sir/ Madam,

The complaint is regarding paytm order ID 2773813470.

Few months ago on 18th February 2017, I had made my first booking for Delhi-Goa return for the dates 11th October to 15th October 2017.

On 19th March 2017, I was informed about the Delhi to Goa flight schedule timing revision from the Airlines and was given an option to reschedule or cancel the flight. I chose to cancel and rebook Delhi to Goa (Booking for 2 against Order ID: 2934828199) while Goa to Delhi remain the same as it is. I spoke to the paytm customer care and asked for cancellation and refund for the Delhi to Goa flight.

They mistakenly cancelled both Delhi to Goa and Goa to Delhi and initiated both the refunds on 26th March 2017. Soon after this I again had a conversation with customer care for restoring wrongly cancelled Goa to Delhi flight and it’s refund was deducted from my paytm wallet. Refer my March 2017 statement attached which shows Goa to Delhi flight refund was added and deducted soon after stating “withdrawn against dispute”. On 27th March 2017, I had received a final acknowledgement e-mail from paytm for my Delhi to Goa flight cancellation and Goa to Delhi confirmation regarding Request Ref : 24770209 against order ID 2773813470 screenshot of which is attached for your reference.

After all this, suddenly on 11th July 2017, I received a text message from Indigo stating “Dear Ms Bajaj -Your IndiGo PNR EFGL6X is cancelled. Use our app-http://mobile.goindigo.in to book next time.”

After my companion Mr Puneet Bedi’s conversation with Indigo helpline, we were told that the cancellation has been done by the service provider (PAYTM) on 11th July 2017 at 5:12 pm. Following which we called PAYTM customer care and discussed the same but the matter is yet not resolved. We had long discussions and we were provided with a “Complaint ID – 24762591” and he also conveyed that he will update us with in 20min after discussion from the airlines. He called up after 45min and promised an action within 48 hours with a “Case Number – 33487837” & was also told to contact on Mr. Puneet on an alternate number. There by  a lady called up on 12th July 2017 on the alternate number provided at 3:21pm with no information, no solution and was trying to blame us for the cancelation, wherein he told to trace down the cancellation from where it has been done & the lady promised to contact with all the details on 13th July 2017 but till now we have not received any call from PAYTM.

All my bookings have already been made for 11th to 15th October and this moment unnecessary flight cancellation without my knowledge and on false or mistaken claims is not done. I was officially not informed on email nor any other way. After the clear settlements, freezed final bookings and confirmations in March and making full fledged payments for the return tickets such a matter should not arise after 4 months.

Now after having detailed telephonic conversations followed by an e-mail describing the matter requesting for resolving it along with multiple follow-ups since 11th July 2017 till now it seems Paytm does not bother to act upon my complaint. They don’t even reply my e-mails. My patience has come to an end.

Attached is the screenshot reference of e-mail and paytm wallet statement of March for your thorough reference.

I request for an early action from your end.

Thanks & regards
Divya Bajaj
