Hi,
As I had made a pre payment .. this is why ZOMATO is confidently fooling me that if order gets cancelled , a cancellation charge is levied .. how could they have deducted the money if I had not paid in advance? It is just that I made a prepayment and they are giving this stupid answer that they have to compensate the restaurant and delivery partner .. they are not able to refund the money to customer who trust their service and paid in advance ..
ZOMATO just invade our money in every possible way.. first they take orders and then deliver late.. and then providing baseless resolution..
I am attaching the screenshot where I was waiting for 30 minutes for my order to get delivered but then I got a call from ZOMATO saying order is cancelled and cancellation charge of 350 rupees was charged from me .. I was continuously trying to connect with chat support executive and asking for escalation hierarchy but didn’t receive any sort of response .. ZOMATO is just robbing the customers.
They have robbed my hard-earned money by giving baseless answer that there was a location address mismatch .. it was not a location mismatch .. it was just a block mismatch from A to E block in the same location , same society .. they are not supposed to cancel the order on their own .. I was ready to pay extra amount for the order .. ZOMATO delivery executive should have confirmed the same thing to me but he rudely said that he will not deliver the order and disconnect the call .. I will not accept this behaviour and will not bear the loss of someone else’s mistake and wrong behaviour .
I request you to Please take appropriate action against them and help me to get my money back.
