i am working professional, i contacted a broker for a flat. that flat price was 20k. i paid 20k to broker and same rent and deposit. now, i found that he lied with me and flat owner, and there is no legal agreement yet, but i trusted on them and paid brokerage before agreement. now owner is not accepting on this rent. so i called him to give my brokerage back, and he told me there is no rule to pay it back! he is not giving my brokerage and i also told him that i will do FIR but he said that do whatever you want from your side. i have all call recordings & screenshot of payments. but many people told me, doing any legal complain or FIR won’t help as they have a lot of connections. what should i do?
