Text of Complaint by Maneesha mohan B:

We booked a table at JW Marriott on 20th may 2023 through the Zomato app as part of their ongoing carnival festival. 2 hours before the scheduled, the restaurant called to inform that buffet is cancelled due to (in their words ) restaurant being destroyed by a “cycLoan”. In a city like Bangalore, heavy rains are a common occurrence and at time of call rain had halted. The restaurant manager assured that the same deal will be applicable the day after and he would talk to Zomato and arrange the same . But when we spoke to Zomato executive, she indicated that booking will be refunded and she refused to modify the booking. Also ended conversation without resolving the problem. Very unfortunate that renounced restaurants like JW Marriott use such cheap tricks and lie to avoid customers availing discount offers. Also Zomato shouldn’t promote their deals when they don’t intend to provide them. Me and the family were looking forward to dine at this place the whole week and what disappointment it turned out to be.
