A number of complaints have been filed in the consumerscomplaintscourt.com regarding the fraudulent and illegal practices followed by several call centers offering ‘work from home’ activities.
The modus operandi followed by these call centers is simple.
They call people looking for jobs on Naukri, Quikr etc and offer WFH jobs such as translating jpeg images into word etc.
People are induced to join with very attractive and lucrative terms. They get the joinees to sign an agreement.
Thereafter, the frauds claim that the work done by the person fails the quality assurance test and that there is a breach of contract for which the person is liable to pay a penalty.
The frauds also send messages in the names of Advocates threatening that court cases will be filled if the penalty is not paid.

Fortunately, one such call center operating in the name of Amazon Easy Cell and INTRATECH has been busted by the Gujarat police.

Surat: data entry work from home in five days After being lured to earn 25 to 30 thousand and then claiming to have breached the contract, PCB raided the call center called Amazon Easy Cell on the fifth floor of Nanpura Teamliawad Gandhi Palace and seized 37 mobile phones, 6 laptops, 10 computers from them. , Rs.11,530 in cash was found and a total of Rs.2.57 lakh was seized. The PCB has declared four wanted, including the mastermind of the call center, which started only 21 days ago and has been deceiving people mostly from Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh, and further action has been taken.
According to the details received by PCB sources, based on information received by Head Constable Yogeshbhai Kansarabhai and Constable Shailesh Ashwinbhai, PCB PI S.J. Bhatia and a team raided the Amazon Easy Cell Call Center on the fifth floor of Nanpura Teamliyawad Gandhi Palace at Gatsanje. Based on the concept of work from home, PCB called people and did data entry work from home and lured them to earn 25 to 30 thousand in five days, paid Rs.6700 and after making the agreement, they sent the link for data entry form of INTRATECH company through email and later emailed them or WhatsApp message. They arrested seven employees of the call center who were forcing money to be transferred to the account numbers of different banks in the name of penalty by sending notices about breach of contract and taking legal action.
PCB recovered 37 mobile phones, 6 laptops, 10 computers, cash Rs.11,530 from him and after questioning, it was found that Nitesh Khimani, who lives at Parle Point and was previously arrested for running a similar call center in Jalgaon, had given Viren Bar. And started this call center 21 days ago with Reinkesh Patel. From here, mostly Jharkhand and Madhya Pradesh were called and cheated with the lure of working at home. The PCB has now recovered a number of threatening messages and details of financial transactions from the call centre. Besides Nitesh, PCB has declared three others wanted and has registered a case in Athwalines police station and taken further action.

These fraud companies took advantage of unemployment and they target people who is seeking for job also Quiker is responsible for these type of fraud
These criminals should be punished most severely, like rigorous imprisonment for 10 years or more and make them pay huge penalties so that they become bankrupt so that no one thinks of cheating people further and taking advantages of lack of awareness or knowledge. But, unfortunately due to our week legal system and laws these criminals used to continue there cheating and fraud business openly.

Do not pay them any money. They can do nothing as the agreement is not an enforceable one in the court. If you have not signed the agreement in your own hand and in front of witnesses the agreement is totally null and void.
