Biryani By Kilo is a new food-tech startup set up by two IIT graduates named Kaushik Roy and Vishal Jindal.

The food startup is based in Gurugram and is operated by Sky Gate Hospitality Pvt Ltd.

Biryani By Kilo claims to use the best ingredients, world class technologies, processes & systems to give the best quality, standardization, hygiene & convenience to customers.

It has kitchens in NCR and in big cities like Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai etc.

However, like any startup, Biryani By Kilo is plagued by complaints from disgruntled customers.

Most of the consumer complaints relate to late delivery of food, poor quality and low quantity of food.

Fortunately, Biryani By Kilo has an efficient customer service department and call center which attends to complaints and resolves them to the customer’s satisfaction.

Kolkata and Lucknow biriyani is awesome. My friends and I have been ordering this since last year. Korma is quite nice. But don’t buy phirni. Last night (23-11-18) we bought phirni (along with biriyani) and it tasted sour. None of could have it. Poor phirni is still tolerable, but rotten is too far.

Kanjoos makhichoos biryani. We heard a lot about it, ordered first time today. In 1/2 kg veg lucknow biryani we got 1 small soya piece, 3 carrot pieces and 5 beans ! Utter Nonsense and useless. If I had to eat this shit I could have made pulao in my house. It’s not even close to a pulao. People desperate for food with zero knowledge of biryani will give them rating of 3+. People who know food ie. Indian cuisine will never order from here. I don’t want to pay 325 RS for coloured rice ok ! And mirchi ka salan was another story, boss there was no mirchi !! Wow they have written their "khansamaa’ has prepared this preparation, bro if your khansamaa’ is a dhaba ka chotu then only you can make such a disastrous salan and so-called-biryani. Pls don’t fool us on our hard earned money. We are not idiots to buy this coloured rice you call biryani. Kindly change your name to "Rango wale chawal by kilo"

No more comments. Use your wisdom, eat in the thela serving biryani on roadside will be better. End of story.

@biryanibykilo My confirmed order 23767 shows delivery in 73 mins and the location is supported. But your customer service called to cancel it reasoning they no longer deliver at my location and cut the call. What a pathetic customer service!

Injustice 🙁 .. 8 PM order delivered at 11 Pm after lot of confusion. Food was cold, badly prepared and just not up to the mark. Should have ordered from @BiryaniBlues or some place else.

  Must admit that BBK is one of the most unique and appealing venture that I have come across recently when it comes to good food accompanied with innovative presention. Their innovation is reflected by the "aanch box" and the fact that the biryani is served in the very handi that it had been cooked in.
Biryanis were flavourful, a bit on spicier side but personally I cherished it! Fresh and fragrant. The aroma is completely irresistible and delectable.��
Would like to appreciate all the efforts and thoughts that BBK puts into handcrafting every handi.
Extremely responsive and courteous management and staff! Indeed they are putting in lots of effort to make this concept a success. Glad to know that BBK is so customer oriented and appreciate the same. Kudos to the team! Keep up the good work!
