I am a Amazon Prime customer and a frequent purchaser of items from the Amazon website.
But I had a unpleasant experience last week.
I ordered a OnePlus Nord phone on 29th Sept 2020. As I was tracking the item, I could see that the item travelled from Dankuni, West Bengal to Gurugram and reached Ahmedabad at 2.10 pm on 3rd March 2019.
Then there was no information available. Finally, at about 7.15 pm on 7th October 2020, I contacted the Customer Care contact centre. The first time the call got disconnected. The second time I tried I got a recorded call saying that my phone would be delivered soon, and that I would receive a SMS giving the contact details of the delivery agent.
Immediately thereafter I got a SMS saying that my order had been cancelled.
After some time I called up Amazon Customer Care once again, asking for an explanation. The complaint centre executive I talked to several people and told me that the phone was damaged, so it was being sent back to the supplier.
Can the Amazon management confirm this, because a friend who is in the line of business tells me that there a huge demand for the this model, so it is likely that it will be disposed elsewhere at a premium !
