I ordered a Universal Supplement Health Product on 17th of Nov 2024 via Amazon.in and chose cash on delivery however on 19th of Nov 2024, I went online to Amazon website and made an online payment of Rs 7729/- using Axis credit card ends with 9522 so that my parents would not get bother for the Money however when i didn’t receive the delivery on time then I requested for cancellation of the product and it got cancelled on 20th Nov. When i checked again the refund status on the amazon website, I found that refund will be initiated on Jan 1 and should get credited by 5th or 6th of Jan hence I waited patiently for my refund. As I haven’t received any refund amount till today so i called Amazon customer service and then got shocked with the poor customer service and denial of receiving any payment made by me. Representative Pratham who answered the call totally denied giving the name of his supervisor and any email id to send a complaint email when asked multiple times. he asked me to share any payment proof to which I shared the Axis statement, SMS confirmation and even the screenshot of the amazon website showing refund will be initiated on Jan 1 and gets credited by 5th or 6th Jan. After receiving the statement Representative said you should have called us before and now it’s more than a month so We cannot refund your money and I was trying to make him understand that I just followed the information showing at Amazon website to wait for refund and it will be credited by 5th/6th Jan. I was on the call for more than 56 mins because at a point Pratham mentioned we can’t help you and you can disconnect the call as no senior is available and because I was not ready to give up he disconnected the call stating I have given you the resolution from my side. So not only my money is on stake however I just waited for more than 50 days to get my money which is an inconvenience and top of that I also have to pay the interest to axis bank for the payment of 7729/-. I wish and hope they should pay good amount of penalty as i have high hopes with our judiciary system and the justice. Attached are some substantial proofs to validate the complaint.
