Text of Complaint by Shivam Bansal:

I ordered a product through AMAZON.IN on 27 April 2019 which was to be paid by me on delivery. The product is a combo of two products which was listed on Amzon.in at a price of Rupees 1525.

At that point the MRP being shown was INR 2210. When the product reached me on 29 April 2019 and as I looked at the MRP, I got to know that the MRP of one product is INR 410 and other is INR 1030.

So the total MRP of the combo is 1440, but I was charged 1525 by the seller. So I raised an issue at Amazon.in Consumer Complaints on 30 April 2019, they assured me to refund the amount charged upwards of MRP, i.e. INR 95, and to remove the seller from their website.

I got the refund processed by evening of 30 April 2019 but when I looked at the same product at around 10 p.m. on the same day, i.e., 30 April 2019, the product was being sold at even higher price.

This is a serious case of cheating on the side of seller as well as Amazon.in as they are not regulating the listings on their website. I am attaching the scanned copy of the invoice and the screenshot of amazon.in mobile app as on 30 April 2019 to show that the product being sold at prices more than MRP by multiple sellers.

Also I am attaching the photos of product showing MRP. Please look into the matter as this is a serious case of fraud and cheating. Had I not seen the MRP, I would have fallen into the trap, so I believe that a number of people must be falling prey to their strategy.
