I placed an order with Amazon on 14th December 2020 and on 15th December 2020, Amazon cancelled the order saying they will not be able to deliver it. On calling Amazon, I was informed that there are transportation issues because of which they will not be able to deliver it, On escalation(2 levels), they told me that it is due to a technical glitch in their systems the product price was not correct at the time of order placement so they will not honour it.
I escalated it to their leadership team and had a chat with Samrat who was very rude and wasn’t even listening and kept repeating we cannot deliver your product nor we can help you with the placement of new order.
I want Amazon to honour their part of the agreement and deliver my order when they confirmed it. I had placed my order fair and square, I did not do anything shady to place it.
If they cannot deliver it then they should create a duplicate order for me at the same price.
I am not ready to place a new order because the price of the product has increased drastically from 99 to 3899.
