Text of Complaint by Amrendra Sah:

I received this text message from Airtel “Pack validity for Airtel no 9893284642 will expire on 26-Nov-18 & outgoing services will stop. Recharge with RC35 or more for continued services.Dial*121*51#”. I talked to Airtel customer care regarding this message. She told me that your outgoing service will be stop on 26 Nov 2018 so you need to recharge minimum 35 for validity only and if you do not recharge then your Incoming service will also stop after 15 days. She also told me that you have to recharge after 28 days for validity if you done the recharge with 35Rs. I asked to her that will I have to recharge time to time only for validity, She replied Yes you have to recharge time to time for validity only. When I purchased the Airtel Sim Card that time Airtel gave me life time validity. Airtel is cheating to customers……………so bad………….

  1. Hi ,Amrendra Sah I am krishna from HYD .
    Now 25 crores (250 million ) users ,mostly poor section are going to loose connectivity . I have made 3 posts ,on similar complaint by Ananth vishnu 98154-43377 .
    The service providers are mainly speaking on viability to provide incoming calls for Less frequent callers . I request to to make TRAI a party ,in this writ . Apart from breech in promise aspect ,I suggest you following routes to ask .

    1. Requesting judges to order TRAI to examine again to revise present 14 pisa/ mt Interconnection usage charge to 30-34 pisa as requested by Airtel & vodafone in 2017 . You request judges in view of public interest of 250 millions poor people .

    2. Ask Airtel representative ,if they are willing to restore 2037 (or at least 10 y) ,if charging incoming @ 25% of Outgoing rate . & Rs 200/6m rule not applied to those who are willing to pay incoming calls . ( I have called this as PLAN B in my posting in Anatha vishus page .) This PLAN B to be readily available to all by USSD code ,then interactive response.
    3 If both above Incentives are given to service provider ,then ,they will surely revert back to long validity PLAN B for less frequent callers .
