I have been a loyal customer of airtel for the past decade. I recently upgraded to the postpaid plan of 999. So along with the plan I received an offer of adding three other airtel numbers to the same plan. I added three airtel numbers from my family to the same plan with assistance from airtel customer care services. After a few days I removed one particular number from the plan. Now this number was automatically changed to a postpaid number by airtel and automatically upgraded to a 999plan when that was never asked my me. Later after a month I’ve been asked to pay a sum of 1021, when I never used the number for data nor any phone calls. I’m not willing to pay money for a mistake that wasn’t done on my side and neither did I use their services. Kindly ensure that they either reduce the bill amount to a minimum of Rs 399 which I’m willing to pay to retain the number, and going forward I want the sim to be changed back to prepaid. I’m not willing to pay a whole sum of Rs. 1021 for any service that I didn’t use.
