I have booked a room for my cousin(Jaya Krishna) through Agoda app where it mentioned 24/7 check-in is possible. When he went to check-in at 9AM, the receptionist denied asking to check-in at 12 PM. When complained Agoda customer service, they spoke to the property person and updated he is not accepting the early check-in without paying ₹1000 but I asked them why they mentioned 24/7 check-in option. The customer service executive told it’s a misinformation and they’ll correct it in the app but they are not ready to bear the amount that needs to be paid for early check-in even though it’s their mistake. I also suspect that Agoda and property together are doing it intentionally by making customers pay more in this way as the customers can’t wait 3-4 hours in the reception to check-in. This is a serious concern and a strict action needs to be taken against Agoda on this as there are many customers like me have been suffering for many days.
