I had made a booking with agoda and it was for a wrong date and then cancelled it and asked for a refund or change in the date and they said the hotel policy was not allowing them (Shangri La Hotel). I called the hotel directly and they said they did not have any problem and even sent a confirmation email (and funnily the booking was still showing on the hotel website although agoda claims that it was cancelled) now agoda is creating stories and have retained my money illegally although the hotel has already done the date change.
