I purchased RED TAPE Men’s Sneakers for Daily Street Comfort Sneakers For Men from Flipkart under Order ID OD337621378958874100. The shoes were delivered on 25 May 2026 and the seller on invoice is Bhumika Highstreet India Private Limited. Purchase value of shoes is ₹800.
Within about 40 days of normal office use, the shoe developed sole/upper separation from the front and side. The product was used only for daily office commute and office wear, not for sports, trekking, rough use, or industrial field work. This appears to be a premature manufacturing / product quality defect, not normal wear and tear.
I contacted Flipkart customer support, but they refused assistance and stated on call that there is no such policy/warranty for manufacturing defect in this case. They asked me to contact the brand.
I then contacted RedTape customer care, but RedTape replied in writing that since the product was purchased through Flipkart and sold by Bhumika Highstreet India Private Limited, they are unable to assist and asked me to contact the seller through Flipkart.
So I am being passed between Flipkart, seller, and brand without any resolution for a defective product sold on Flipkart.
