Placed an order using coupon code. Payment did not go through.
Clicked on retry payment, payment went through but coupon code was removed automatically.
I immediately cancelled the order and contacted Zomato and the restaurant immediately. I told the restaurant that I would want them to continue with the same order while I will place the order again using the coupon code which was removed automatically by Zomato.
The restaurant prepared the order and delivered it to me for 495. However, Zomato charged me 495 as cancellation fee claiming that the food was wasted.
However, no food was wasted and same can be confirmed with the restaurant. All of this happened within a span of 2 minutes.
