I placed an order from wahid biryani amindabad yestery which was to be delivered in aishbagh, but due to some lag or issue in the app, suprizingly manas nagar(gomtinagar) was added to my delivery address automatically without any input from my side after i placed the order.
Noticing the same, I contacted the chat support, after which I received a call from one of your executives, who said that my order cannot be delivered as the delivery location that was mentioned did not match the delivery location that i actually specified from my end. He told me that he would get the order cancelled from his side and ensured that I will recieve a refund for the same within 7 working days.
Within 10minutes I again received a call from another executive from Zomato who again told me the same story and in a very unprofessional and rude manner told me that the order will be cancelled and no refund would be given. Even after consistently telling him that I just talked to someone who told me the complete opposite of this, he continued being rude about it and very blatantly said that there is nothing that can be done and hung up the call.
I believe customer service is one facility that is for the benefit and ease of the customer but if Zomato has executives like these who don’t even put in efforts to find solutions for problems, there is no benefit of the consumers trying to reach you or having a customer support department. I need clarification on the entire episode and would also like to let you know that a similar situation had happened once more on the 7th December 2018(Cake ordered from The Patisserie).
I urge to see to this and let me know, how do you plan to go ahead with this being the situation.
