I placed one order of Rs.140 from Zomato by mistake. I cancelled the order immediately within 1 minute of placing the order. Zomato charged order value RS.140 as cancellation fee for nothing. Also let me know how food preparation can start within the 1 minute of placing order.
What kind of policy is that Zomato is charging 100% of amount as cancellation fee.. this is not acceptable. I have been using Zomato for a long time but did not know that Zomato has such absurd policies to make some extra bucks. Even airlines don’t charge 100% cancellation fee.
As far as food wastage is concerned I cancelled the order within 1 minute of placing the order and tried to cancel the same even before getting a confirmation but zomato application does not support that, so better check and make necessary changes in zomato application to prevent food wastage.
- This way Zomato will very soon loose its loyal customers base.
