ZOMATO displayed FAKE OFFERS and when I ordered from it, their support executive admitted the offer was Fake.

I ordered from the specific items under this offer especially for the Lucky Draw offer of winning Boat bluetooth headphones. When I asked Zomato Support Exec Pankaj about how I will be notified if I won, I was told over and over that no such offer exists, and if it did I should have applied the promo code. I informed him that there was no option to apply any promo code, but he was adamant that no such offer existed. When I asked to cancel the order that I did ESPECIALLY DUE TO THE BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES OFFER, I was told I won’t get a refund.
When I asked for proper assistance, I was given this email ID and the conversation was rudely and abruptly closed.
This is FRAUD.
ZOMATO cannot LURE CUSTOMERS with FRAUDULENT OFFERS.
I’m a student and can’t afford ti throw away money like this. I wasn’t refunded, the chat supporters kept lying, switching among themselves and changing their statements, and I was made to wait a LONG TIME.
ZOMATO doesn’t CARE about ANY CUSTOMERS. Truly inconsiderate and pathetic.
I have screenshots of everything, the offer, the orderscreen, the zomato chat where they kept contradicting themselves in a clear and blatant way that could probably incriminate the chat execs or ZOMATO itself if any authority took note… And the ridiculous emails I received from ZOMATO.
This IS very unprofessional and disgusting for an app that is so popular and that we use diligently.
I highly doubt I will get any satisfactory response from their email ID.
Swiggy is Truly Amazing in that regard..They call the customers if the customers want, and even a small thing like cooking instructions has been conveyed by call by a Swiggy Chat Supporter when I once forgot to mention it to the restaurant. Once the food I received was cold, so i checked that box in rating..and they refunded 30rs to me voluntarily.. The amnt may be small but as a gesture it lets us know that SWIGGY cares. They admit mistake where there is mistake, and actually TAKE CARE OF CUSTOMERS. Truly commendable.
I’m sure as hell making sure that ZOMATO ia never used by any person I know from now on.
