Text of Complaint by Ashish:

Dear Sir,

I recently saw an advertisement wherein there was an offer to join the Zomato Delivery Partner Services. I contacted them at the displayed numbers. I received the Zomato Delivery Partner App and installed it.

In the application i submitted my aadhar card number, and PAN details.

It Also demanded a payment of 1440/- against the on-boarding fee for joining delivery platform services.

I paid it online through their app.

Later i was instructed by the app to cover a training session which consisted of videos.

I listened to all the videos.

After that the app instructed me to collect the Zomato Kit from the nearest store.

Here, i have decided to NOT join the platform. I did not login as a delivery partner for accepting the orders.

I have also not collected the kit.

I have decided to not GO with the delivery platform and raised a ticket for refund of the INR 1440/-, since i am NOT joining the platform.

As per the legal agreement also, there is no mention of such change of heart of the potential employee.

Now if i DO NOT join the platform, the Zomato company will simply get my hard earned 1440/- amount. whereas in their legal agreement there is no mention of if the partner after paying the fee and installing the app, decides to NOT join, such phenomena is NOT covered.

It only says, that within login of the delivery partner function, the partner has to accept/login within 30 days otherwise the amount will be forfeit.

I find the legal agreement NOT covering this incident and hence hereby demand my paid fee of Rs.1440/- back

Please help me getting my money back.
