I purchased Zee5-Airtel thanks complimentary offer on 13 May 2021, because I wanted to try out Zee5 application but later I have realized that it is not useful for me. Hence, I decided to cancel this service before 13 may 2021. Since I purchase it from Airtel, 89rs comes in airtel bill and it is on auto renewed.
- On 10 June 2021, I tried to unsubscribe from airtel option, but didn’t find an option to unsubscribe, so I had checked on zee5 application, but here also same issue.
- next day (11 June 2021) I called to airtel customer service for the help to cancel, but I was told to do it from Zee5 app than call dropped in between and there was no call back from their end.
- Second call I made to airtel customer service on 12 June 2021, I repeated the whole issue as previous executive didn’t leave any note!! In nutshell I was asked to contact Zee5 team but refude to do so and tried to push them to do from their end because as per my common sense, if I subscribe from airtel than it must be unsubscribed from airte. THEN I WAS TOLD THAT THEY HAVE TAKEN MY COMPLAINT AND WILL LOOK IN TO THIS MATTER.
- On 13 June 2021, this subscription got auto renewed!! ad 89 rs added to my bill against my will.
- On 14 June 2021, I called again and again I had repeated the whole issue. I was told that I have to unsubscribe it by my self from the airtel application, however, there is no option to unsubscribe and that I had mentioned to that customer executive. again I was told to contact zee5 but I told no to do that. Later i was told that I will be given feedback with in 2 hours with the solution. but never contacted
- Even though I said no to contact Zee5 team by a mail on 14 June 2021, I did yesterday because I wanted to get rid off with this issue. Zee5 team told me that it can be cancelled from airtel only.
- Today morning, 15 June 2021, I again called regarding this issue and as I asked to customer executive that I have been calling to your team regarding an issue, so please what note has been left on the system because I don’t want to repeat it for the forth time. And as I expected there was no notes! It has made me furious because It made me felt like and endless process. I told them them to check recordings, but they don’t have them.
Kindly request to help me out and make sure others won’t go through this.
