I booked a Budget double-bed standard room at Pine City Guest House in Shillong, Meghalaya for one night on 3/10/2022 through booking.com. After booking, the vendor (www.a2zRoomz.com) declined my credit card and told me on the phone that the credit card payment could not be accepted due to technical reasons and asked me to pay through UPI or net banking. After paying him the total amount of 4455.00 rupees, he demanded another 783.00 rupees. I was forced to pay. But the room allotted to us on 3/10/2022 is unfit for occupancy. The room was at the bottom of the stairs and smelly. It had no windows or any kind of ventilation. The bathroom was small, dirty, and broken. There was also a broken TV that didn’t work. The light and fan in the room were not good. After reaching the hotel, I tried to contact the vendor but did not get any positive reply. My family had stayed up all night. This was not the kind of experience I was looking for my family and I did not expect this kind of service from the vendor of booking.com. I have provided all the information needed and I am requesting that you take strict action against that vendor as I don’t want anyone to suffer from the conditions my family has already suffered. Please take necessary action…..

My name is vinod, I am the owner of pine city. This guest wanted to leave as his office leaves are not granted and cancelled as last minute. He asked for refund in season time and we declined. A2zroomz is the agency where we got the booking and we have been working with them for more than 5 years now. They denied after our consent and this guest out of avenge put bad complaints against them. Have not the pictures were displayed before your booking. You booked because you wanted to stay near police baazar and you were not getting options. Shame on you Mr Mandal. You also didn’t pay food bill of 2000rS. please pay me asap. My number is with you. I have been whatsapping you for last 90days now. Pay me you cheater
