On month of august 2022, i saw that rs 299 have been deducted from my tata play account, on checking the transaction history i saw that a tata play binge subscription was activated on 1st of july which was free for 1 month and this month it was charged. This has happened without my consent or acknowledgement. On complaining to customer service they blamed us that we have activated it, it can be done with OTP i have not received any such OTP on july , neither do i have a tata play binge app, neither does my watch history shows any such service being used. They being such a big company can easily verify if they want if they have sent an OTP to my number for the date given. But instead they have been changing their statement though out the calls that have been made. On searching consumer forums i found that many people have same issue.
