I am holder of Credit card n. 4375511019259014. Added to this is Amazon Card no. 4315810422628002. In Oct. 2019 I made transactions using both the cards. The monthly caes statement for the former was sent late and no statement was provided for the latter card. However, I made timely payment quoting no. of the main card ….9014 as per details given below:-
1. Rs. 870/- on 01.11.2019
2. Rs. 807/- on 04.11.2019
The total payment covered dues under under both the cards. The company, however, arbitrarily utilised the payment partly to current dues and balance towards amount not due on that date instead of adjusting the balance proceeds to the dues under card …..8002 without any reference to me. I, however, made another payment of Rs. 870/- on 13.11.2019 to cover dues under the second card.
Though I had made payment twice to cover the so called outstanding, I was shocked to find on receipt of monthly statement for Nov.19 on e-mail for card….8002 that a penalty of Rs. 500/- has been imposed for late payment.
Aggrieved,I submit this complaint for immediate reversal of the penalty and other relevant charges.
