Text of Complaint by Madan Patil:

NOTICE

Dear SBI,

Rs 3600 & Rs 7606 were debited on 12 Mar & 29 Oct 2019 respectively from my Home Loan A/c no.36725695800 as “Debit Adjustment Home Insurance”.   These discrepancies were reported via Email to Jitesh.Deshmukh@SBIGeneral.in, ROHIT.SINHA@SBIGENERAL.IN, sbi.14729@sbi.co.in & sbi.18589@sbi.co.in on 4 Nov, 5 Nov & 31 Dec 2019. Also telephonically and in person these discrepancies were reported to the Branch Manager Mr Nalawade, Shribag branch, Br. Code: 14729. The first instance was reported to the BM in person in Apr 2019. Thereafter an SMS was sent on 28 Aug 2019 to the BM narrating this issue apart from telephonic conversations.

Now Rs 7606 has been credited back to my HL A/c on 14 Nov 2019. Please note that NO interest has been credited for the period of 17 days @ 9.2 % (29 Oct to 14 Nov).

Initial wrongful debit of Rs 3600 dt. 12 Mar 2019 is not yet credited to my HL A/c. Please credit this amount with 9.2% interest from the date of debit.

My concern was raised to @TheOfficialSBI on @Twitter on 4 Jan 2020. No response either on Twitter or by Email. Now further update is requested on 13 Jan 2020 on Twitter as well as by Email.
