Text of Complaint by Pradip Rathod:

I had purchased a Sony E-Mount FE 85mm F1.4 GM II Full-Frame Lens (Model: SEL85F14GM2) on Amazon India under a 12-month EMI plan (Order ID: 408-8762101-3705906). However, the product delivered was not the item I ordered. The outer package was damaged, and upon opening (as advised by Amazon Customer Care), I recorded an unboxing video that clearly shows a different, non-original product inside.

I immediately raised a complaint with Amazon, and they initially assured me that an investigation and refund would be processed. Despite my multiple follow-ups, I was later informed that the refund request was rejected with a false claim that I had done something wrong.

This situation has caused me financial loss and mental distress, as the EMI payments are still ongoing for a product I never received. I have been a loyal Amazon customer and have previously purchased camera equipment worth over ₹2,00,000 without any issues.

I am requesting the concerned authority to:
1. Direct Amazon to issue a full refund for the wrong product.
2. Conduct a fair and transparent investigation into the case.
3. Take appropriate action against the seller or parties responsible.

Supporting documents including purchase invoice, product photographs, and unboxing video evidence are attached for verification.
