Text of Complaint by Neena Roychowdhury:

I ordered a sari via an online link (Sari Bhandar) on Facebook. The product I ordered was a white linen sari on COD basis. As soon as I ordered, a call was received from Gujarat to confirm my order. I received the product after a few days and made the payment in cash. To my utter shock later when I opened the package, it was a multi colored orange, green and yellow sari. Not only the colour was totally different, but also the material was awful. I started making calls on the number provided on the package, the website but none of my calls went through (even after at least 30-40 attempts). I dropped a mail to the mail id ‘saribhandar@gmail.com’ given on their website but even that bounced back. I even left a chat message on their facebook page but no response. I don’t know what to do. I have been cheated of Rs 1649 (Rs 1599 cost of the sari + Rs 50 delivery charges) but more than anything, I feel cheated. My trust has been broken and I feel completely harassed and frustrated. How can such companies be stopped from duping innocent people? Does Facebook hold any responsibility towards genuinity of the advertisers on Facebook page?

I am attaching picture of what I received. Request any assistance that I can get in order to get justice.

Wrong product delivered, products shown we’re costly and those delivered are of a very cheap quality which no one would like to wear.They are fooling customers to distrust online shopping.This is the first time someone on online shopping has cheated me like this.Contact now.given are also bogus.

  2. Me too got cheated, did lot of follow up for refund but no avail. whats the way to get my money back.
    I spent money on sarees and also sent them back by parcel to them so spent 250 rupees on parcel.
