Initially,I had ordered Crompton Arno Neo ASWH 2615 15l(2KW)4 star rated water heater(white) and had received Crompton Classic water heater as shown in the image attached.I had received the latter product that is,the wrong/different product for which I had generated a replacement order on the same date as received i.e. 13th November,2020.I was made to wait for a week and was about to receive it by the delivery agent at my doorstep today.On verification of the item which was to be replaced,the delivery agent told us that since he had received a wrong image of the product that was sent to me and asked for Crompton Arno Neo(which I obviously didn’t receive and hence had generated a replacement)instead of Crompton Classic(the wrong item that I had received).
On lodging another complain to Amazon regarding their mistake for sending the wrong image of the item to the delivery agent that was to be replaced by Crompton Arno Neo,they gave me an option for Refund and Cancellation of the order instead of replacing the item again or even instead of sending me a link to upload the picture of the wrong item that I had received.(which caused me trouble another time.)
Later on,when I somehow agreed for cancellation and refund,I got a mail saying “your return for CROMPTON ARNO NEO…”for which I had to contact the customer service again to have them confirmed on the fact that I will not be returning Crompton Arno neo but Crompton Classic and then I finally received a link to upload the pic of the wrong item that I had received.I have written this letter for confirming it yet another time that the item that I will be replacing will be Crompton Classic(as shown in the image) and not Crompton Arno neo.
I had not expected such lame service from Amazon.in.I will definitely not be suggesting or recommending it to any of my acquaintances.
