Text of Complaint by Rohini/ Dhananjaya:

This is with regard to my Airtel mobile number 9845363541 , my name is Rohini Dhananjaya.

I have been having this number  for more than 15 years .

I was travelling to USA on April 10th 2019 from India and hence tried activating RS 3999 pack for 30 days on Airtel app, but I could not activate as my number was on family pack, hence called up customer care to activate my roaming which was rs 3999 package for 30 days and the customer care representative confirmed saying it will be activated in next 4 hours.

Four days after I reached US I got a msg saying they are charging Rs 649 everyday and hence with so much anger and inconvenience I had to put my phone on airplane mode .
I used it only when there was no alternate way to contact family.

After I come back to India after a month I was shocked to see that my bill is rs11300.

I have explained to every person from Airtel ,who calls me to pay outstanding bill to resolve this.

I haven’t had good experience, called up customer care and they said they have activated rs 649 per day package, when asked why would they do that, he said it was based on my previous usage.

This is so insane.

Hence I haven’t paid the outstanding bill.

This is outrageous and charging me high without my consent, hence will not be paying this amount, wanting to port my number who can give better and honest service.

Please I would like you to look into this and resolve the matter.
