Text of Complaint by Nitin Kumar:

We ordered a renewed laptop from amazon on 1st December and expected delivery date was 2nd December but on 2nd December no one contacted us and cancelled delivery and rescheduled on 3rd and they delivered the packet on 3rd December’s evening. Packet felt little light so we record the video while unboxing it and there was no laptop inside the box a sand bottle and another thing wrapped in bubble wrap was there. We immediately contacted to amazon customer support and they registered our complaint and told us to contact on 6th December we tried contact them through their website but they put lock on support system talk to us tab, So we immediately registered our complaint on National consumer helpline and also post video on twitter and tagged amazon and continuously tried to contact them through 180030001593 after many attempts finally we talked to them and they told us in our investigation we find that there were no issue with product and delivery but it’s not true after this we reached to police station and they suggest us try other methods we can not do anything in this case. There is a Delhi govt cctv outside our premises you can investigate it’s footage and we have video proof of this and on 4th December I dialed 100 number and also contacted amazon support to give them an information about packet, on 3rd December’s evening we were in panic because of this fraud and next morning after examining the box delivery label carefully I contacted them again and told them most probably delivery boy or warehouse employees did this fraud with us they removed label from original packet and pasted on this box and delivered to us. Now amazon social media team working on this but we are still in problem because that amount isn’t small for us it’s our hard earned money and we don’t have faith in amazon’s process they did same with us in October in their great Indian festival sale we ordered a product and their seller sent us an used product with missing accessories and that time after investigation they provided us solution they scheduled 3 return or pickups for us but again their ground staff delivery boys didn’t pick or never contacted us they cancelled our pick up from their end each and every time after contacting them 10-15 times they finally told me to ship that product by myself and after doing this they took over 15 days to refund my money but I thought it’s a mistake or badluck and finally they resolved my issue considering this I ordered 2 laptop from them a new one and a renewed one on renewed one they did this to us.
