Text of Complaint by Abhishek Kumar Rajvanshi:

I was contacted by Ms. Nidhi Ranjan, on behalf of Simplilearn, an online education provider, in the month of January 2022. She reached out to to me over phone and advised to me the benefits of the data science course. She repeatedly kept pursuing me to give her a confirmation to join the course, as they normally do over telecom. I was initially reluctant to join the course as i was a working professional myself. However i agreed later on with Ms.Nidhi Ranajan as she stated that i could drop out of the course after a few days in case i was not comfortable with the same, only paying the fee applicable till then.
She even handled the finance part of the education, as is visible from the chats attached. The Co. was so much interest into me luring into a trap that they even checked my cibil score and kept pushing me for clearing one of overdues of Rs.639 only. I was repeatedly counselled by Ms. Nidhi even though at a later stage the finance was provide another company called liquiloans and disbursed directly into the education provider company’s account.

I paid a few instalments in the starting but later tried to communicate with her and others from the Simpli learn team only to find out that the period of refund was only of -7- days.

It is pertinent to mention that the first class itself was after a span of -7- days’ time of me joining the course, hence the clause of the -7- seven days is not applicable in this case.

Also if the finance was being provided by some other company i should have been counselled about the same by their staff and not by the Simplilearn people. I suspect it is a fraudulent scheme wherein people are being misguided and made to pay fees.

A similar case is also been registered at the consumer forum: https://consumercomplaintscourt.com/simplilearn-scam-and-denying-cancellation-of-course/

And a lot of people are also mentioning such issues at the Social media platforms which can be easily accessed on search engines such as Google.
