Text of Complaint by Ruchi nayyar:

This is regarding my husband”s mobile number-9899019277 registered in the name of Manu Nayyar. He has been using this number since 2000 and we have many vodafone numbers in our family.

Recently vodafone deactivated this number and when my husband went to the K block store in Lajpat nagar-2 (on 22nd nov) near my house. The representative Named Taqvi mohammad gave him wrong information and misguided. he told him that the number could not be activated in prepaid mode and he will have to get it postpaid. As he had no other option and he wanted to keep this number, my husband asked him to do the needful.

Taqvi not even once informed his about the usual procedure to get it activated in prepaidĀ  mode and only suggested him to get it prepaid.

 

Later at night when when my husband discussed this with me, i contacted your call centre. Mr. neeraj told us that the number could be activated with a recharge of Rs.35. i have many friend and family members who did the same to activate their numbers. I also requested him to STOP any request made for postpaid right away and he agreed.

 

Next day morning (23rd nov 18), i again contacted your call centre and asked them not to activate postpaid . My husband went again to the store but he couldnt find taqvi there so he contacted Shipy and asked her not to activate postpaid. she ensured him and said she will send an email for the same

 

Today on 24th nov, we got a message for postpaid activation and as we dont want it i went to the store and met taqvi and he said it has been proocessed. he again misguided and asked me to call 59090 but as far as i know this is for verification.

I dont want my number to be postpaid and i want it as prepaid. otherwise i am prepared to surrender/port this number. i will not verify/use this as POSTPAID

we have been a loyal vodafone customer but i feel sad to get such services from their stores.

you should train your staff to suggest and request and not to pressurize and misguided people.
