Text of Complaint by Gnanasambandam:

I have got Airtel -UL- Plan 799 installed today at my home and after paying Rs.2,828 online for a subscription of 3 months. CAF No: 0443299165. Before taking this connection i have numerous discussions with Airtel representative in my area about the modem, telephone instruments and any additional charges will be levied at any point of time after installation, his reply was no additional charges except 799 as monthly bill will be paid by me as modem is free of cost until i cancel the connection. Ironically after installation, the installation guy told i need to pay additional rent for modem after 3 months or else buy your own modem. so i tried as many times to clarify about this new issue with the Airtel representative with whom i have discussed earlier, but he never bothered to respond. And also, the installation guy tried to takeaway our modem which my wife took it back after much argument.

My queries are as follows.           1. Why did Airtel representative hide the modem rental part and dupe me or is it miscommunicated by the installation guy        2. Is that Airtel has instructed its staff to take the customers modem without their knowledge and permission.
