This is the mail which I sent to Vodafone Customer Care Service on 11-8-2019.
I am Asha Prakash Bhatt. My mobile number is 98251 33916. I got International Roaming services from 3-7-2019. I received the bill on 15-7-2019.
I was out of the country so my cousin paid the bill by cheque number 1140 drawn on Bank of Baroda, Nanpura – Surat branch, account number 21850100001121, on 17-7-2019. The amount is 13,006. The cheque was delivered personally by him on 17-7-2019 to one employee at Vodafone Center, Ring Road, Surat to Ms. Shehnaz.
The amount was debited from my above-mentioned account on 19-7-2019.
The screenshot of my Bank passbook is attached.
However, my services were discontinued on 2-8-2019.
As I was in the U.S.A., my cousin came to your above mentioned center and showed them the passbook, personally.
They assured him that they will do the necessary procedures and services will be restored.
Unfortunately, the services were not restored.
When I returned to India on the morning of 10-8-2019, I called up your complaint number 98250 98250. I talked with one employee Kajal. I had called her at 13:52 and talked with her for 15 minutes. I narrated the whole story and requested to do the needful. Our conversation has been recorded according to her.
When I realized that she does not seem to be authorized to deal with my problem, I requested her to connect me to her superior. She said that her superior will call me within an hour. I received a call from number 7971032300 around 15:15.
He did not identify himself but told me that by mistake, the amount has been credited to a different account and he will reverse the credit to my account but I have to go and show the copy of passbook of Bank Account to the concerned the Vodafone Store.
I went to the store and narrated the whole story again to one employee Sanjit. I submitted the photocopy of Passbook to him.
He continued to ask me my story 3-4 times and displayed an indifferent and neglecting attitude. I insisted on meeting his superior. He said that he is not available and he refused to give me his contact number too. He told me that he will send the mail. So the circle was complete!! My cousin had received the same answer 5 days back and here I was getting the same answer in the most callous and careless manner.
All this time during this conversation, another employee on the opposite desk was laughing and making fun of me. Even this Sanjit too agreed with my statement that he was laughing. The name of this employee was Amit.
When I told him that I will complain about his misdemeanor, He raised his lapel and said that he is Amitkumar and my complaint was nothing but trash to him. When I insisted to see the superior emphatically, one Mr. Sarfarz appeared and Sanjit said that he is his superior.
He said that I give him my alternate number and his superior will contact me and he will restore the services within 2 hours. Nothing of that has happened. No contact from Mr. Sarfarz’s superior nor the restoration of services!!!
Today i.e. 11-8-2019, I again called 98250 98250. One Mr. Ajay was talking to me. I narrated the whole story and prayed, offered to prostrate at his feet if he can get my money back. I appealed his good sense, honesty, morality and prayed to grasp the significance of 13,000 rupees for a middle-class person.
He advised me to write this mail. He talked with me for 39 minutes beginning at 10:26. He told me that this call was being recorded. He assured me that his superior will call me.
When I am drafting this mail i.e. 21:16 of 11-8-2019, I have not received any call, neither the services have been restored.
I appeal to your sense of justice, honesty and good sense to revert my money at the earliest so that I can repay the bill and get me services restored.
If your morale values agree, if it happens to be a part of your duty to redress clients’ grievances, I request you to spare me the hardships, financial loss, and humiliation – all for no fault of mine whatsoever.
I received the following mail on 11-8-2019.

Nothing has happened. My money is not reversed. My connection is not restored.
I called 9825098250 on 14-8-2019 and requested him – one Mr. Ajay was talking to me. – to guide me further. He advised me to find out the contact number of the appellate officer from the web site of Vodafone.
He expressed his inability to give me the said number. I could not find this particularly identified authority on web site. I accidentally found this, therefore, I am writing to whosoever can listen and solve my problem.
