Hi Sir/Madam,
On the 2nd Of July 2019 I recharged my Vodafone number for Rs.100. Immediately after that I received a message that Rs.49 has been deducted from my account for subscribing to a service named “HOW TO VIDEOS”.
First of all I use a basic model phone where only normal calls and texts are possible. Also I didn’t receive any such subscription messages.
When I reached customer care and registered complaint they said the request for unsubscribing has been initiated and refund will be done within 24hours. Within 30mins I received a message that the service has been unsubscribed but no refund.
Later on 03/07/2019 I again called customer care service and the person named “Keerthi” confirmed that I will get refund before 06:00PM the same day.
Today morning which is 04/07 when I called customer care I got the same person “Keerthi” luckily but she transferred my call to some other representative who said after 24hours no refund is possible.What is my mistake here? The moment the money was deducted I contacted them and registered complaint.Please help me out on this.
