Text of Complaint by Abhishek Srivasatava:

This is reference to the bill no. HRI0506251051965 where VI has wrongly charged me the services which were never availed by me. A screenshot highlighting the same is also attached. Pls refer to the attachment and go through the details as the services which are included here were never used by me. However, if we go look at the complete case, the amount highlighted was first added in my MAY’22 postpaid bill which was removed after I logged a complaint on the helpline number. The bill(May’22) was then revised to an amount of Rs. 588. I am unable to understand the reason behind adding the unused service bill again in the next bill. I ported my number to Airtel from Vodafone through porting request on 20th May 2022. I was using vodafone postpaid service, for which, the bill was raised at 20 th of every month. For the last month of the service the bill was raised on 20th May 2022, I did clear the bill due amount and subsequently I applied for porting. The Airtel was then activated on 24th May 2022. However, they raised a bill on 20th June 2022 and have added a amount of Rs.1005 in the bill for Amazon service which I neither had never used nor have access to.

I have raised the same concern over mail to vodafone and have visited to their store but the issue has not been resolved yet. The clarity has always been missing from the employees side every time which has led and forced me to leave VI. I have also been receiving numerous threatening calls of red flagging of my number leading to disconnection of the same but no one from the team has been able to look into the issue and resolve the same.

I would kindly request the VI team to go through the bill and timelines of it and remove the wrongly charged bill.
