Text of Complaint by Benny Jacob:

I gave my car Grand i10 AP 16 DF 5953 for service to a workshop 7th Gear , Enikepadu in Vijayawada through Gomechanic on 06.05.2022 and the car was delivered on 10.06.2022. I was charged Rs 26000/- for the service. The person Incharge at 7th gear was Mr Tarun(Mob No 7337034777). The Gomechanic Service buddy assigned to the car was Mr Srikanth Pulijala (88006 31194). After a few days off usage, it was found that the major issue of engine noise and vibration was not resolved. On 23.06.2022 I spoke to Mr Tarun regarding the engine noise issue. The car was sent to the same workshop and after 5 days the car was returned after repairs were carried out and again I was charged Rs 11000/-. The engine issue was not again resolved and I raised a complaint in the Gomechanic app regarding the poor quality of service. The car was once again sent to the 7th Gear workshop and this time Mr Prasad (Mob No 7337024777) has promised to deliver the car after addressing the engine issue. After 4-5 days the car was returned and the issue of vibration and noise were not rectified. For the third time I took the car to the workshop and showed the vibration and engine noise issue personally to Mr Prasad and an entry was made in the job card. After 1 week the car was returned with the issue not being resolved. I have spoken several times to the service Buddy regarding the continuous poor service quality and he was totally unresponsive. Many complaints were booked on the HelpLine 8398970970 and App of Gomechanic regarding the issue with a request to change the workshop. A Twitter complaint was also posted in this regard. Each and every time I called the helpline I was told that an escalation team would address my issue but nobody has called me to address the issue. Finally Himanshu Thareja (8800762638) called me and promised to change the workshop. He even requested me to delete the twitter Complaint and be rest assured that the engine issue will be resolved and I obliged for the same. The car was sent to another workshop of Mr Akhil (99896 98777) in Bhavanipuram on 10.06.2022. I was told by Himanshu after a few days that the fuel Injectors needed repairs and I was asked to pay Rs15000/- again. I categorically denied to pay any amount further as the repairs carried out by the earlier workshop 7th Gear was unnecessary when the prime issue of Noise and Vibration were not rectified. After multiple discussions and follow ups with Himanshu I was asked to pay at least Rs10,000/- and I agreed to it. On 11th July I received a call from Mr Akhil regarding the car service and I went to the workshop, the issue of engine noise and vibration were rectified but a new problem with turbo has occurred. The turbo problem never existed earlier and upon enquiry Mr Akhil said that it will cost Rs25000/- also he said that the clutch cylinder was not properly replaced which will cost another Rs6000/- and unnecessary repairs were carried out at the previous workshop. I immediately spoke to Himanshu regarding the turbo and clutch issue and he informed me that he will speak to Mr Akhil.
From 13.06.2022 I have made innumerable calls to the service Buddy Srikanth Pulijala and Himanshu and they have not answered my calls .Many calls were made to the helpline number and many chats were made on the Gomechanic app requesting for resolution of my issue or immediate return of my car, but I have not got any call from anyone. Today Srikanth answered my call and started abusing me in foul language which shows the attitude of Gomechanic employees towards the customers . The car was kept in the workshop for almost two months and I was deeply troubled by the quality of service and attitude of Srikanth and Himanashu.
It is a real disgrace that Gomechanic does not have any redressal mechanism and is completely not bothered about customer satisfaction. Also the customers are not in receipt of any acknowledgements regarding the complaints made either through SMS, Whatssap, E-mail. I would also like to bring to your notice that the experience in Gomechanic is really a nightmare and request you to immediately address the issue as mentioned above. Total bill charged 47k and again demanding 35k
