I have been using Paytm Postpaid (issued by Aditya Birla Finance) since September 2021 and was paying the regular fees incurred by the Paytm postpaid facility. In January 2022 I checked my credit score for buying a laptop and saw that my credit score soared to 566 points due to account settlement by the Paytm postpaid. Being a regular customer and bill payer I raised a complaint through chat and telephonic with Paytm customer care. But all the time they refused to consider my complaint even though I showed them proof by screenshot.
And later in Feb 2022, I stop paying my bill to Paytm for the previous month’s uses. Then the big boss Aditya Birla Finance start to call me every day regarding the payment. I politely asked them to kindly retrieve the account settlement status from my account as I had never asked them to do that. But they never respond to me regarding my problem and keep forcing me to pay the due amount. I had even talked to their Supervisors as well as a senior executive which they have call recording on behalf of our customer care. From Jan to April 2022 I keep requesting them to withdraw the account settlement but they show no response rather they are imposing a fine on me every month.
I tried to send mail to both Paytm postpaid and Aditya Birla Finance regarding my problem but no mail address shown on the website works.
And now I finally decided to complain here about a resolution and compensation for my mental harassment and financial loss due to my poor credit score.
