On yesterday, my wife received a text message from “WECASH” saying
Dear Reference,
From WECASH….!
To Fraud Customers….!
We tried contacting <My wife’s friend name, mobile number> but there was no response. As concerned person has given your number and name as reference. Try to intimate him to repay the amount rs XXXX if not we will take action against you.
Note: if you have any kind of questions call to <My wife’s friend mobile number>
my wife is panicked since the message says they will take against us. We were living miles apart and she already told this to her family and everyone is started worried about this. We tried to inform this to her friend (not so close) and she didn’t picked her call. After hours my wife called me and told me about this message. I said nothing to worry since we haven’t get any loan.
This message came from a number +91 7829461161 and when I tried calling, it was in out of coverage mode.
This single message created mess and fuss in her family now. How could some company send a random message to a user without our knowledge?
You have number of ways to do your business but not with innocent people, we are educated enough to handle these kind of things but think about people who has less outside knowledge, I’m sure this could have created sleepless nights for them.
I have read these loan apps already taken some of lives, government should take severe action against these companies.
