Text of Complaint by Jishnu:

This is a Complaint against EVM VW Cochin Dealer Service Center. The vehicle was given for service on 21 April, 2022. Mr. Agin Mohan was the agent who took the service. The car did had small splashes of wall paint which he told would be removed by polimer coating. The agent was asked to deliver the vehicle on the same day. Later at the evening Mr. Agin contacted to get the permission to extend it to next day. It was agreed. On the next day 22 April, he advice to get it full body painted. He did not give the information of the time or delay it will take and the huge amount of charge it cost to the owner.
On 23 April, Mr. Agin was called from our side to ask for delivery. At that point of time, he tell it will take at least 10 days for the painting. It was a shock for us. Because, right from the time the car was given to service, Mr. Agin was told multiple times that it was needed on the same day. He went on extending for 3 days and then gives this information about the 10 days delay.
Mr. Agin did not informed even a single time about the delay and cost it will take for full body painting.
Mr. Mithun took up this issue and he updated us later on. We asked Mithun to give the car as soon as possible after fixing the paint issue as the car was already in dent repairing stage. It was not in a position to drive.
Mithun give us the charges for Full Body Painting.
Every time when we called or texted Mr. Mithun we asked him to give the vehicle fully repaired and fixed condition. We asked multple times because we faced issues in the previous service time in July 2021. The vehicle had issues on the next day after it was delivered from service center. We did not want to face that again so we asked Mr. Mithun again and again to deliver the vehicle ONLY after completing the full repair work and services.
Inspite of all our efforts and above all the given false promises, Mr. Mithun arranged the delivery of the car on May 5, 2022.
When we received the car it was seemed to be painted.
But, there were paint marks over places where it was not needed and even the nuts and screws were seen loose.
I want to bring up this issue to the authority, as I feel we are cheated. Our car parts are changed and work is incompleted.
I am not sure about the functionality of the safety materials of the car.
The seat is changed.
The paint is spread to other body parts.
The display infotainment system also got paint marks.
I am an IT employee and do not have the knowledge to go through each mechanical areas of the car.
An ordinary person only know to fill the fuel and drive. Get the car service done at the regular intervals.
I fear I am cheated this time. I am afraid if this is safe enough to drive or not. I am unable to confirm if the service works for which I paid are completed or not.
My complaint is against the irresponsibilty of the VW employees in their work.
I am complaining against the reliablity of the service work.
I am complaining against the unwanted charges added to service bill given.
Mr. Agin and Mr. Mithun of VW service center, Maradu Cheated us.
I hope the authority will protect our rights and needs for safe life on Road. I kindly request the authority to take this issue seriously and help me get my car fully repaired and provide me refund for the hidden charges in the bill.
