Text of Complaint by Parvesh Kumar goel:

I am using Vodafone postpaid connection from a very long time. I gave request for getting it converted to prepaid three months back. The executive from sector 11 customer care said the request is processed and I was told that i would be given 1 GB everyday for Internet. Later on after one month I got bill of around 900 rupees. And even the next bill was billed to around 800 rupees. On my asking that why the plan was not changed I was told that the charges are for Internet usage. When I asked them about 1 gb everyday Internet data they said that it was for whole month and not for one day. The charges were for Internet due to the usage beyond limit. On asking that why wasn’t I clearly told about 1gb for whole month I was told that it was everyday instead of giving 30gb for month they gave only 1 gb due to which excessive charges were put on bill and there was no intimation of same. This is really disappointing as the customer care and the centre didn’t care to look into matter and cater to my queries even after continued visits and call on customer care. I paid 1000 first month and then more than 700 for next month so I can get it converted to prepaid and give a fresh request for same. Later I went to customer care like quite a number of times for same request. I was told to clear the bill till 24th and then give request for same. I was told I would’ve to call the customer care and then request for port of number to prepaid , when i called the customer care and gave the request i was ensured same would be done. Even after that the request was rejected with no reason. They said there is no reason for that. This is utter nonsense and harassment. The customer service of Vodafone is getting really pathetic. Especially with this experience. On continued request and follow up also nothing is done. I had to pay so much bill. I just pay around 300 amount every month but this time from last two months I had to pay 1800 in two months only. This is ridiculous. I want the solution to this problem and I really wish I don’t have to face this problem and that the port to prepaid is done without any rejection.
