Text of Complaint by PRASANTH:

Hi,

I submitted a request for Post Paid to Prepaid at Vodafone Store on Mar30th 2018.

During the the request process I was asked to pay an excess amount(outstanding amount) RS 161 by the service center guys.

I paid the amount and i received an sms with the reference for postpaid to prepaid conversion.

I have been told that it will take 48-72 hours for activating my prepaid plan.On April 1st 2018 , I received a communication as SMS from vodafone that my post paid to prepaid conversion request is rejected due to an outstanding balance.

I raised repeated complaints on 2nd of April(complaint No 338278012) and 4th April(Complaint No 338781734) for the same and those complaints were closed without taking any action.

They agree that there was an issue from their server.

Now on April 21st on the billing cycle they send me a post paid bill of 923 and deducted the same from my account as ECS.

I called customer care asking for refund the same as the issue happened from the vodafone  side that the prepaid conversion was not done(reference No 211971072).

The customer care executives are not ready for refunding the last month amount.

I had already paid the outstanding amount on the date of request taken for Prepaid migration.

My bills for the last 5 years are in the range of 470-520. Here the vodafone guys processed my prepaid connection and took an outstanding amount and then charged me additional amount for the period from April 1st to April 22nd. Still my connection is not prepaid yet.

It takes nearly 2 hours the explain an make the customer care executives understand the issue.

PS: i am a customer of vodafone post paid for last 5  years. Still they don’t close my issues.
