Sir,
Kindly note that I had activated the Vodafone Red Basic Plan my primary number 9830166684 and another used by my family 9830166642, since 15th October 2018.
Till January 2020, my bills would be of average Rs 650/- every month, with Rs299 X 2 = Rs 598/- Plus relevant GST amount. However, since February 2020, I have been billed Rs 1018/-, Rs 1506/- and Rs 886/- respectively for February, March & current month of April.
The reason/explanation given is Call Charges in February and April, and VAS Charges in March. Whereas I have never Ever subscribed for any VAS, and since Calls are Free, where is the scope for such atrocious extra/over billing?
When after great difficulty I was able to speak to the call center executive today, after a long wait she responded that they are unable to open my Bill details!!
I have been using Vodafone (though previously also known as Orange, Hutch etc) since September 2003 and am really surprised and shocked to see such pathetic and shoddy treatment to genuinely long-term customer.
Therefore, I humbly request you to direct the service provider to immediately reverse all of the unlawful and false extra/over charges immediately and restore faith and trust of their intent and services.
Otherwise, as I had mentioned to the call center executive, if this wrong is not set forth right immediately before I am to pay the April amount of Rs 886/- by 30th April 2020, let me assure Vodafone that my first and foremost priority immediately after easing of Lockdown shall be to cancel my account with them and with number portability, switch to Airtel.
Thanking You and awaiting your proactive response in the matter.
Warm Regards,
Arindam Roy Chowdhury
